Designed to be ultra portable, useful for quick reading or writing tasks for those who have some degree of visual impairment.
Uses are endless; read food labels, restaurant menus, timetables, etc. Or use when examining and working with small objects, or when writing.
This is an amazingly small, lightweight magnifier with a 3.5 inch (8.9 cm) high-clarity screen and it is easy to use with a battery that lasts for around 1.5 hours. It weighs just 200 grams and has a fold out handle which also acts as a writing stand with the lens tipped up slightly for writing. The handle folds flat under the magnifier for smooth rolling over paper or books. The viewing options are full colour, black on white, or white on black when used with text.
Simple to operate, there are just two buttons with a "camera" button to take a quick snapshot that can then be looked at away from the object or text. There is no need to hold the sides of the magnifier when using it. It comes with a carry strap and case.
Weight 200 gram. Uses 2 rechargeable AA batteries. Battery charger included which can be plugged into the Looky. Or use standard AA batteries. Battery compartment is designed to prevent incorrect +/- alignment.
