BigKeys Plus keyboards support nursery and Keystage 1 children as well as those with motor disability, hand tremor, dyslexia and other related difficulties.
BigKeys Plus differs from BigKeys LX as it has fewer keys and simplified layout. No functino keys are included, simply spacebar, letters and numbers.
Rugged and dependable, BigKeys Plus is the same size as a standard keyboard and works straight out of the box.
The variety of BigKeys Plus key options enables you to find the perfect solution. These include:
QWERTY or ABC layout; lower or upper case letters, black lettering on white keys, or black lettering on assorted brightly coloured keys.
The lower case coloured ABC keys version is less confusing for young children and those with SEN.
Choose the BigKeys Plus for learning letters, words and numbers. The layout is the simplest possible on any keyboard in the world and children love being able to easily get results without all the clutter and confusion.
BigKeys Keyguard
An optional acrylic snap on keyguard is also available to guide fingers to the keys. Users with motor skills difficulties or upper limb disorder will find the BigKeys Keyguard very helpful in aiming the finger at the right key, and giving some support to the hand. The polished rounded holes guide the finger to the correct keys and provide support while the correct key is located
